  • All screen material is sold by the stock roll length - 100' only.

Standard Charges...

  • Minimum Charge: None. Screen cost is as listed in web store.
  • Packing Charge: Varies by item. Minimum for all orders is $5.00. Metal screen material packing charge is $15.00 per roll.
  • Shipping Charge:
    Roll under 59" in width when packaged - $8.00 minimum by UPS*. Rolls over 60" in width when packaged - $15.00 minimum by UPS*

* Web store shipping cost displayed will be based upon order weight not size. Total shipping cost will be adjusted as explained in our terms and conditions and during the check out process. Please contact our office if you have any questions.

Special Order Items...

Several products shown on this page are "Special Order" items. Special order items are NOT stock items. These products are supplied or produced specifically for your placed order. As such, please note the following:

  • Special Order item sales are final and not returnable.
  • These orders are not cancelable after 24 hours of placement.
    •
  • All standard terms and conditions are applicable.
    •

You will be charged fully for Special Order items after passage of the 24 hour cancellation window. Shipping and packing will be charged at time of your orders shipping. Standard lead times do not apply to Special Order Items. Shipping time for special order items is dependent upon actual order placed and will vary by order and time of order placement.

Custom Materials...

Just about any material can be
obtained from or manufactured by our associated mills. Available Base Materials Include:

  • Copper: Many weaves, widths and gauges are available.
  • Stainless Steel: Many weaves, widths, alloys and gauges are available. Type 304 is normally used for most applications and Type 316 is used in coastal regions and salt air exposure. Widths over 60" are not available.
  • Aluminum: Many weaves, widths, alloys  (5051, 6061, etc.) and gauges are available. Widths over 72" are not available.
  • Fiberglass: Any weave, gauge or color is available. Widths over 108" are not available.
  • Polyester: Any weave, gauge or color is available. Widths over 120" are not available.

Wire gauge for insect screen material should be based upon material to be used and overall usage objective(s). Actual gauge utilized must be considered in association with weave determination.

Note 1: The expected life span we detail should be used as a guide only. Your material may last far longer or far shorter than the approximate times listed. The actual life span you experience will vary greatly based upon a host of factors including, but not limited to, abuse, application, atmospheric conditions in your location, etc.

Note 2: All photos shown are for illustrative purposes only. Actual appearance after installation will vary based upon lighting, viewing distance, backdrop, angle of sunlight, your viewing angle, etc. All photos are taken on an angle - focusing on the screen material - to emphasize material finish. Screen Materials

We sell and use only the highest quality insect screening materials available. Rolls are available in full foot widths x 100 foot lengths. Screen material is sold by the full roll only.

Pricing for all materials are listed in the web store. Use the link above or the order links below to review current pricing or to order.

Rolls over 100 feet, special weaves, metals, colors, and widths are available but require minimum purchase amounts.  Please contact our office AFTER reviewing the requirements explained at left.

Fiberglass Materials

Fiberglass Materials do tend to have a shorter life span. The PVC coating will "burn off" faster in conditions of prolonged direct sunlight and they may become brittle towards the end of their life. They are the most forgiving during installing and can withstand abusive conditions without showing dents or "scars". Material can be cleaned easily with a garden hose and mild soap to remove dirt or other debris, but not signs of age. Outward view is good but overall will depend upon backdrop scene, lighting, angle of sun, etc. We would expect these materials to perform well in non-harsh conditions for approximately 8 to 10 years1.

Aluminum Materials

Aluminum Materials generally have a longer life span than fiberglass materials. The material will show all abuse and dents. Not forgiving if mistakes are made during installation. It is not uncommon for streaks or a powder- like coating to appear during the aging process. Material can be cleaned easily with a garden hose and mild soap to remove dirt or other debris, but not signs of age. Outward view is very good but overall will depend upon backdrop scene, lighting, angle of sun, etc. We would expect these materials to perform well in non-harsh conditions for approximately 10 to 15 years1.

Bronze, Copper and Stainless Steel Materials

Bronze, Copper and Stainless Materials are at the higher end of both cost and life expectancy. Best suited for conditions along the coastlines or areas where high levels of abuse are expected. The material will show all abuse and dents. Not forgiving if mistakes are made during installation. Uncoated Bronze and Uncoated Copper will acquire a patina over time while uncoated stainless may show carbon streaks or spots when aging begins. Coated Bronze will stay brighter longer but eventually a patina will begin to form. Material can be cleaned easily with a garden hose and mild soap to remove dirt or other debris, but not signs of age. Outward view is good with the brite finishes and very good for powder coated finishes. Overall, the view will depend upon backdrop scene, lighting, angle of sun, etc. We would expect these materials to perform well in non-harsh conditions for approximately 20 years or more1.
